Getting a modular or semi modular PSU is recommended.ДЄs for storage, 256 GB will be enough for the OS, 3 or 4 large games, and a good amount of other drivers and software. But like I said, you can get a larger micro atx case that has plenty of room for the PSU. And as Ichon said, the PSU can be a hassle if you buy a non-modular and you buy a small micro atx case. Most cases will, but its good to double check. also check to make sure there is clearance for the video card. Even if you get a micro case, they are usually still pretty large and allow for good airflow.just read reviews, and check to make sure the case has ventilation and fans and you will be fine.

Micro atx forms can fit into standard cases too. If you dont have the money and you need more cooling you can always pull the side panel off for the time being. Worse case scenario you have to spend 5 bucks to buy an cheap extra fan for the extra cooling. (I told him it would happen! )Д«ut intels new line is much more energy effecient so it will not give off as much heat as the 8350.ДЄlso as long as you have 2 fans it should be fine.

Playing S2 for more than an hour causes his PC to turn off. His case came with one 140mm fan as an intake on the front. I built a PC for a friend, against my recomendations, he was running an fx 8350 and a radeon 270. You can sometimes put regular PS into microATX case but it will stick out and can be extra complications better for first time builders to avoid.

boards usually save you $20 but it you can get bigger on sale for a first build it is probably worth it as it is easier to install and most of the micro ATX power supplies I've seen are under 400W. Otherwise I agree with on the CPU and possibly going microATX mobo especially if you do wait for the 480 the only issue with microATX is the PS. Since prices for SSD keep declining by the time you need more space you can get a 500gb SSD for the same price as you paid for the 250gb. Most games of the past couple years have install between 10-30gb so probably around a dozen games will fit on that SSD. I would say SSD of 250gb is definitely enough to get you started as OS and basic programs will likely take around 40gb leaving 200gb for games initially. For storage you have to ask yourself what you really need.

R9 480 ships in 2 weeks on June 29th so if you build the system in July going with the 480 which has MSRP of $199 is probably enough for a couple years at 1080P and allows you to get 600W power supply. You dont need anything fancy, just a monitor that has good reviews, and a bonus would be an adjustable stand. If you were going to buy a monitor, I would go with a 1080p 25-28 inch for standard viewing distances. You can shave off a good chunk of cash this way. **Always look for deals, rebates, sales etc. If you plan on overclocking, adding more fans, lights, periphreals than you may want to stick with 750w. The video card requires 550W psu so an extra 100 watts should still be safe. You could get a 650Watt power supply if you are comfortable with that.

You could find slightly cheaper RAM, but you are going to want 16GB.8GB would be fine too, but 16 seems to be the standard these days with 64 bit OS Also, a modular PSU would be very helpful here too. The downside is the system is a bit smaller to work with, but nothing un-manageable and usually they come with only one PCI16x 3.0 slot so no xfire. You could also build a micro-atx system which will save you money on the motherboard and the case. Its still a fully capable i5, you just wont be able to have the control over clock speeds. I would do this unless you want to overclock. This also means you could get a cheaper motherboard on behalf of it being non-OC. You could get a non overclocked version of the i5 which is cheaper. go with a r9 380 instead of a 380x- you will still get very high and ultra settings but at probably 30-40fps instead of 50-60. (Optional you may want a CD/DVD drive, HDD for mass storage, Copy of Windows if you dont already have one)ДЇrom Newegg in USD, you are looking at about 850 bucks.

However, there are ways of trimming the fat to to keep the price down. With that budget, this build will be close to your max budget.
